I saw some touchest wildflowers plants growing on clift of canyon, brought forth the glorious petals under the scorching sun during the blooming season, one of my sweet memory of wildflowers sighting during my hiking at the White Tank Mountain in the late winter. Our winter usually quite warm and many wild plants will bloom vigorously and it's the high season for hiking. I admire the naure strength, even though the flowering period is very brief, sometimes a plant would died scorched by the hot sun before finishing its' bloom, but the plant has never gave up the chance to display its' gloriest moment.
I chose to paint with combination of art technique I have learnt in many years. I joined tonalism, pouring fluied acrylic and spattering painting in one body to complete my story. I called this as Kung-Fu Painting as it involves actions of dashing, dripping, flinging, flickering, striking...the acrylic paints on the canvas. I find the painting process is some sort of therapheutic and relaxing.
