I chose to pour fluid acrylic and arrange the paints to fuse by themselves. I usually allow the paints to flow in different direction to create atmospheric abstract scenes tie together with my mood and emotions. The process take place in spontaneity and complete in one go. By the end of the day, I usually feel so satisfied when my creative energy was totally consumed and absorbed into the large piece of artwork. All the artwork are actually a piece come out from my soul and heart. Sometimes I would let the paints settle just as it it, sometimes I added extra design just to make the story interesting.
There is challenging in producing triptych as specially the artist, En Chuen Soo needed to work on wet-in-wet for all the three pieces at the same time. She poured fluid acrylic onto a pre-textured canvas which adorned with sparkling pearl shell piece, created an aerial view of land and sea, and called the sandy beach as the Bridge of Magpies, as inspired by the love story of a cowboy and a weaver from the Old Chinese legend.
